Austin students placed 4th in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Tucker High School, missing 3rd place by only ten points or one question. Teams from over eighty elementary schools in DeKalb County competed against each other to answer questions on seventeen Georgia Book Award Nominee Books. Team members were selected from the Reading Bowl Club, which began meeting in the Austin Library on Mondays in September. Congratulations, students! We are proud of you!
