Austin ES is proud to partner with Great Parents Academy (GPA) to introduce a unique and dynamic learning software application to our families. Beginning this summer, all of our Austin Elementary School families will have access to the application for twelve months, paid for by a sponsor partner.
GPA is an online education company located in Atlanta, GA that has developed a web-based application that serves families of children in grades K through 5th. The company’s mission is to build the world’s best education technology tools for the purpose of maximizing the child’s learning potential by connecting and empowering parents, teachers and community partners.

GPA has partnered with multiple corporations and foundations, as sponsors, to form the Education Community Partnership (ECP) Initiative to offer sponsorships to Georgia public elementary school students to have access to the GPA application for free. Our school qualified and has been selected to participate in the ECP Initiative for the 2014/2015 school year.Please
take advantage of this opportunity and register with GPA by selecting the
registration link below. Our school will have early access this summer. During registration, select the grade level
that your child will begin in August. Be sure to utilize the Engage component
of the application to support and encourage your child as they learn. The Motivate
component will be available August 4th. A workshop for parents will
be scheduled in August to highlight the features of the application, but please
do not wait to get your child started.
Austin Elementary School Details:
Begin Registration: July 2014
Curriculum: Math
Grade Levels: K – 5th
Lessons: Aim for your child to complete at least 6 lessons a week (about 20 minutes per lesson)
Device: Use a PC or a MAC laptop/desktop – tablet support coming in August
Browser: Use Google Chrome or Apple Safari 6 or 7 browsers (MS Internet Explorer and Firefox are not recommended)
