Congratulations to our 5th grade artists, Sara-Jane C. and Chip N.The Dunwoody Police Department invited 5th graders from the Dunwoody feeder schools to participate in their first holiday card contest. The winning card will be sent to many police departments all over the country as well as the local community and city government. Austin Elementary took first and second place over all the Dunwoody Schools. Chip's card "Deputy Santa" won first place and Sara-Jane's "Elf Officer" placed second. Both students had their photos taken with the Chief of Police, Mr. Billy Grogan and received a framed certificate along with their original designs. Chip won a tablet and tickets to the Atlanta Zoo. Sara-Jane won a nice art set. We are so proud of them for their hard work and creativity! Way to go Austin artists!!
